Message: We enrolled our daughter in March and have had a great experience with Abacus and the teachers here. We can tell they really care about her. She loves exploring and socializing with the other kids. The new director Kristin is a big step up!

Message: My daughter spent several years st the school. The staff was very friendly to me. My daughter started summer camp this week and she said something that stuck with me.. Me: how was camp baby. Her: I love it, and the teachers don’t yell at us like the teachers at Abacus. Food for thought. This was upsetting to hear. I don’t yell at my child, and completely disagree with handling a situation by raising my voice. They are babies and they are learning.

Message: I had an infant and a 3 year old that went here, and overall, we had a good experience. My 3 year old LOVED it and often wouldn't want to come home. They have an indoor gym which was really nice for him to burn off his energy.. My infant always seemed happy, clean, and well fed. When I came to visit or pick him up, he always seemed to be happy and content for the most part. I know many of the teachers spent a lot of time interacting with him too. I also liked that they seemed to actually enforce the safe sleeping environment which I know doesn't always happen at many daycares.. I've been to several other daycares that were about the same level as this one, and I didn't think they were drastically different. Certainly not enough for this place to be considered only one star. It IS expensive though due to it being in Carmel. They also haven't updated to using apps to check on your kid's progress which would have been nice considering the price.. My only other complaint is that I was sometimes concerned my toddler would get lost in the shuffle when I dropped him off in the morning. I would drop him off at different times some days, and they would often be in different rooms with different teachers until the head teacher came in. I always tried to alert the teacher that he was there, but I'm not sure they always knew which kids were supposed to be with them.
