Message: Staff goes out of their way to respond to parent concerns quickly and thoroughly. Having a child in a residential treatment facility is stressful for the entire family, and they were able to arrange a time to speak with me and allay my worries.. I would like to see more information in their parent handbook as to what the residents’ daily routine looks like, the rules and the consequences. This would go a long way in easing parents’ concerns.

Message: Biased. They are the real deal keeping the YOUth safe & out of harms way from the things that go bump in the night to the real dangers hidden in plain sight. The closets have no monsters nor under the beds. What more can I say, that I haven't already said. Yes there are phantom faces at the windows, empty chairs at empty tables. But it's not what you think, those are reserved for the guardian angels of family & friends watching day and night just as it was in the beginning of #DCF as the Children's Campus it is still the same only bigger and better for Youth are not always bad. They are just kids growing up too fast and want to be adults way too soon.

Message: I was here for almost 11 months 2020-2021. It was ok here, it helped me with my trauma, but i was still depressed. But all in all, the staff is great, especially Mr. Gunn, Ms. Leah, Mr. Harris, and Ms, Ashley.

Message: I was a patient here when I was 11-12 the staff are alright my biggest issue was sharing a bathroom with 3 other kids.

Message: I was a patient here from September 2017 to April 2018, and I have to say this place gave me a whole new outlook on life. I was on a unit that housed people with a multiple variety of disorders and they had 2-3 groups a day during the week that provided advice and help hone your social skills, cognitive behavioral therapy, and physical fitness. They also had family therapy and individual therapy once a week, which helped a ton, and they provide you with a skills trainer and care facilitator who work hard to improve your behavior/life skills and try to get the children home as soon as possible. Not only do they help mentally and physically, but the only reason I graduated high school is because the education system here is phenomenal and at your own pace. The only problems is that some staff are unprofessional and too judgmental. The same staff at times have no problem breaking patient confidentiality with the other patients at an attempt to humiliate or embarrass said patient. Some other problems is of course, the other patients. Now I know it's a hospital and people have their problems, but other patients have personally flashed their genitalia at me, physically assaulted me, etc etc.. If a child is a DCS/Probation case or you want to admit your child here for help, I definitely recommend because it will change their life, too.
